The iBarge app was developed by Aspect ICT to make communications between the charterers and inland waterway transport operators easier. It’s used by several freight booking offices, including our PTC co-operative, the HVC freight booking offices and Den Breejen Bevrachtingen.
What can I, as a shipowner, do with the app?
The new app allows you to take the next step in digitization. For instance, the times that you enter for a voyage to transport cargo are used not only for settlement; you are also notifying other parties in the chain.
