We are the PTC (Particuliere Transport Coöperatie b.a.), a co-operative of inland shipping entrepreneurs who collectively handle waterborne transport for clients. Our motto is “Stronger Together”, and our strength in unity is evident from the fact that we’ve been offering our transport services collectively with our members for more than thirty years. We focus on chartering inland vessels in collaboration with our clients.
PTC was founded in 1994 with a fleet of 50 ships. The initiative came from Wim Bennik, Frits de Bruijn, Harry Lubbers, Dick Middelkoop, and Martin Seine. They took the lead in exploring the possibilities of a new commercial partnership. As seasoned skippers, they wanted to apply their leadership and entrepreneurial skills with a clear goal: to prevent fellow skippers from falling through the cracks and to offer clients a reliable transport guarantee
